How to Use iVCam

iVCam transforms your mobile device into a high-definition webcam for PCs, including support for 64-bit systems. Installing the iVCam Windows Client involves a straightforward step-by-step process: selecting the setup language, choosing the destination folder, and configuring shortcut options. After completing the installation on your PC, you must download the mobile app.

To link the computer client software with your handheld device, allow the iVCam app to access your camera and microphone by accepting the permissions request that appears. Make sure the application is active on both your PC and your mobile device.

iVCam provides flexibility in connectivity, allowing users to connect their devices to their PCs using either a USB cable or wirelessly via a Wi-Fi network. The software automates the connection process over Wi-Fi. Successful synchronization between the devices is confirmed with a notification that iVCam has been detected by both applications.

How to Use iVCam with Zoom

After connecting your mobile device to your PC, press the play button to display the handheld camera's view on your PC screen. iVCam is compatible with most webcam-enabled software, including the Windows Camera App, Skype, and Zoom. To use iVCam with Zoom, go to the 'Video' tab in Zoom's 'Settings' and select iVCam from the 'Camera' dropdown menu.

iVCam and the Competition

iVCam is one of several webcam applications available, alongside DroidCam, EpocCam, iCam, Iriun, and ManyCam. All these applications are free and lightweight, making them accessible options. However, each has its unique advantages depending on user preferences.
